Yesterday we had our first snow play for the year. The excitement was brewing as we headed to a lovely park, fully equipped with mittens, funny hats, warm snowsuits, and lots of sleds!

It was a lovely day, and the place was a white dreamland: the snow was blinding, gorgeous and so soft! Perfect for sledding down a graded hill that allowed all ages to have their fun without being too dangerous. It was such a joy to let the kids go and play freely in the fresh air.

Some were more adventurous and climbed up the hill to the very top! Cries of joy and happiness filled the air, and that was the best reward for us all, as the kids came back fully satisfied and with puffed, apple-red cheeks.
