Happy New Year! That 2026 might be a year of health and peace for us all!
We went to pay our regards to the Shrines, pray, and write the annual wish tag at a local temple.
The bright white landscapes, dotted with congregations of birds, and the ritual fire, burning the leftovers of 2025, that was sending ashes up into the sky, created a very spiritual atmosphere. We rang the bell and did the customary bow and clap prayer before going back to school for a yummy curry lunch!
