Spring is finally in the air, and gardens are blooming with beautiful flowers everywhere the eye turns.
For art this week, we made a beautiful flower garden using stencils and paint. We had so many colors to choose from, and we also learned how to make new hues by mixing different colors.
Apron donned, table covered, seats ready and paint arranged on each station, it was time for the fun to begin!
It was really exciting to learn how to hold a stencil down while carefully applying the paint. There were so many ways to explore: some of us chose to paint each petal a different color, while other people chose to go monochromatic for a whole flower.
The results looked like a real garden. Different, unique, colorful and beautiful.
