It was time for  Fire and Earthquake Emergency Drills this Fryday!
We watched videos together that taught us how to stay safe and what to do in case of an emergency, and also practiced some of the crucial steps, such as “Cover your head!” during earthquakes, and how to “STOP! DROP! and ROLL!” to put out a fire. 

Then things got serious, with doors shaking, walls banging, and things falling. The kids hid under the table as fast as they could.. and covered their heads! Well done everybody!
Next, the real fire drill began, and everybody left in tidy lines and walked as fast as they could to the safety gathering place in just over 8 minutes! Truly impressive!
