It seems that the rain likes to show up on Fridays these days, but not to worry! We brought out our colors this week and turned the grey landscape into a sea of purple, pink, and yellow.

Our Adventure Day was flower planting!

The kids received one little flowering plant each and planted it in the bigger flower pot assigned to their class. They learned about watering, as well as about the importance of draining by placing bags of porous stones at the bottom, and how to carefully place layers of soil under and around the plants so that they could grow well and thrive.

We got a bit dirty indeed, but not even the rain could dampen our excitement and fun!

We ended up with a beautiful flower corner outside, and it is now the kids’ task to water them every day!
